Hayden is the Production Manager & Technical Director at Act II Playhouse, returning to the Philadelphia area where he graduated from The University of the Arts with a degree in Directing, Playwriting, & Production.
Originally from New London, New Hampshire, he fell in love with theater at his local summer stock barn.
He was recently the Production Manager for the 2025 season at Peterborough Players, Technical Director with Philly Fringe/Cannonball Festival, and worked as a scenic carpenter on national touring sets with Proof Productions.
Other technical production experiences include Northern Stage, Ogunquit Playhouse, Lost Nation Theater, St. Paul’s School, Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit NYC, & Genie’s Secret Bazaar. When not building sets & scouring spreadsheets, Hayden produced & directed an Equity workshop of The Hairy Ape at Cre8ive NYC and Lost & Found, a solo show that toured to the Prague Quadrennial 2023.
Outside of theater, Hayden enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and woodworking.
